LAKE

KEEPIT.

AUSSIE OUTBACK WITH THE CREATURE COMFORTS OF HOME.

Picking a camp can be stressful – making the right decision is important to teachers, kids and their parents. But it needn’t be. Place yourself in the hands of NSW’s longest running, most trusted outdoor education provider and rest easy with a wealth of options at your fingertips.

One of them is our Lake Keepit Sport and Recreation Centre, located six hours north of Sydney and set among a landscape that encapsulates the Australian outback with all the creature comforts of home.

From arrival, you’ll be able to look out from your accommodation and get a taste of the activities on offer – sighting our pool, basketball and tennis courts – not to mention all that’s out of immediate view. Hit our obstacle course/mud run for an experience not offered by any other camp provider in the state. There is also the opportunity to camp out by the serene Lake Keepit, taking in the stars under the guidance of our camp experts.

With all this and more, let us help you plan an experience of a lifetime at Lake Keepit.

Schools catered accommodation

Our easily accessed dormitory-style accommodation can cater for up to 168 students, with private rooms for teachers placed conveniently for keeping a close eye while getting some shut eye. Teachers can enjoy their own private ensuite.

Our meals

The dining hall is the beating heart of our centre. The scene of healthy and nutritious daily meals, rowdy chatter and satisfied faces. We know your students will love our meals, but so will their parents. Our catering team understand what needs to be done with allergies and special diets, and lovingly prepare all our meals to the highest standards. Students are encouraged to try new foods as part of the camp experience with the understanding there will be some fussy eaters. Our camp experts work with you to meet these needs.

Clients are asked not to share their food with other clients under any circumstance or to take food from other clients as each client has their own dietary requirements and this is to reduce the risk of cross contamination.

“Its my first time at Lake Keepit – its very fun, my favourite was the mud run. I've also done archery, played at the tennis course and done heaps of fun stuff. I'm looking forward to mountain biking and my room is really big and comfortable with all my friends. The instructors are really nice and fun and encourage me.”

– Aidan, Year 6 student, Belligen Public School
